Just remember that professional resume writers make hundreds of decisions in collaboration with you on your professional marketing tools. My recommendations for each jobseeker we have served has been different for the last 17 years. So I recommend that you do what most top professionals do - have your resume professionally written. The costs to you could be anywhere from 400 to 1500 dollars depending on all the documents you may need, including Specialty Letters, Bio Resumes, CVs, Federally Resumes, Online Resumes and Resumes Catered to Several Goals/Types of Jobs.

You are asking a business or a recruiter to invest $30,000 to $100,000 in you and you present a less than professional image in your resume. Do you think you deserve to be interviewed? What are you saying to the hiring manager if your template based, cheap looking representation is your calling card? Unfortunately jobseekers think this is acceptable behavior. I don't and neither do top hiring managers, recruiters and serious hiring managers.

If you have managed to not utilize a professional and you happen to have documents that land you solid interviews then congratulations.

But most resumes do not properly market the candidate or jobseeker fully or properly.

Three indisputable values of a great resume are:

1. They can be your only tool to secure a new job interview.

2. They become the embodiment of your career, career path and presentation skills.

3. They become the image of you, the picture of you to the hiring manager.

In job search you should utilize every advantage you can control. The professional resume writer and the professional writing process can make a huge, positive impact on you and your career.

Terri - That is the right attitude and thought process for your job search. I don't know the cost. ResumeSpider doesn't write resumes. Though we will distribute your resume once you have somebody write it for you.

We have a handful of writers listed in our blogroll on the right side of this page. Please check-out their offerings.

Jerry - I have been in the career industry for almost 10 years. I talk to job seekers, recruiters, career coaches and employers every day. I've learned a lot from other peoples mistakes and successes. I can keep going but dislike using the letter 'I'. Hope this answered your question.

How much does it cost to have a somebody write my resume? How do I get more information? Can Resume Spider do this? I have no problem spending money to help me find a job , as long as I understand the benefits.
